To commemorate their birthday, Asia Alive – the in-house Day dining restaurant is offering a new offer for all its patrons. For just Rs. 1000++, you can feast upon a variety of Kebabs (unlimited) along with their Signature Dal Makhni and a Dessert from their all day dining restaurant , Asia Alive. They are offering a huge variety of veg and non veg kebabs to choose from. Thanks to the whole team of Double Tree By Hilton who invited us and giving a chance to be a part of this grand celebration. We were finally happy to gorge upon the delectable menu of kebabs prepared by the Head Chef Puneet Sethi who has done a tremendous job. In his 3 years at Asia Alive, Chef Sethi has pleased a lot of taste buds with his exceptional culinary skills. We started off with the sweet lassi because beating the heat is also an important thing to do nowadays. And then we began our culinary journey and started off with the Boti kebab and Mutton Seekh kebabs. What a start to this experience!! The texture of both the dishes were incredible and so is the taste. The Boti Kebab almost melted in our mouth as it was so beautifully prepared. Loved the heat of the spices and talking about spices , Chef Sethi has made sure to put the right amount of spices in each kebab delicacy so that it doesn’t taste bland.

Their Kundan Chicken Tikka was a signature dish prepared in pinenuts paste. The dish was sprinkled with gold dust as well which highlighted the beauty of the kebab. As we say , “YE NAHI KHAYA TO KYA KHAYA” and we literally agree to this dialogue because the Kundan Chicken Tikka was out of the world. To be honest,  we haven’t had something like this till date and the prominent flavour of the pinenuts stole the show. Coming on to the next set of kebabs Fish Galaouti and Achari Jhinga were our choice from the sea front. Needless to say that both the dishes were delicious however, we haven’t had such a tender prawn in a long while and it was just mesmerizing. The marination of the achari jhinga was absolutely perfect. The prawns absorbed the marination and was chargrilled to perfection.

We then chose some of our comfort foods from Vegetarian section too – Kathal ki Shami, Dahi kebabs and Paneer Tikka. Not a fan of jackfruit ( kathal ) but that Kathal Ki Shammi was absolute incredible. The best part about this dish that we did not even know it was jackfruit until Chef Sethi told us about this dish.  All the food was delectable with eye pleasing presentation. And for what it’s worth, it’s the best deal one can get. So go out and try the festival before 2nd June, 2019.
